So, since moving into a rent house and getting a nice yard, I’ve decided to go ahead and start gardening again. Now it will be a container garden for this year. But if I’m still here next year I do plan on doing a raised bed garden.
The reason why it’ll be a container garden is because there is a pretty big tree in the back yard that I’m sure is going to cast quite a bit of shade.
I will tell you up front that I am no expert in gardening. I haven’t done it in about 5 or 6 years now. So I’m quite rusty. But I will be taking you along my journey, just know that I will probably make some mistakes along the way and I’m fine with that.
I think everyone should try and learn gardening, it is after all essential for life, we have to eat, and in a SHTF scenario, all the small game and fish will be wiped out within a matter of months.
Food preservation is also a nice skill to learn. If you are able to can your own food, then that will help you save money while building a stockpile of food.
I would love to learn how to pressure can food, but we will see how well the garden turns out this year.
I should be posting the video within the next day or so. I have it edited, just got to find the time to upload the video.
The first video will be starting my black bean seeds and broccoli seeds.
