Hello everyone, I went ahead and uploaded the video of my product review.
I received a box from Valley Food Storage that contained some mixed berries, for free to do an honest review.
There were 3 bag’s, one was a bag of Freeze Dried Sliced Strawberries, another one was a bag of Freeze Dried Blue Berries, and the last was a bag of Freeze Dried Raspberries.
Now I have had all but the raspberries before, so when I did this review, it wasn’t only the first time I’ve tried Freeze Dried Raspberries but it was actually the first time that I have ever had Raspberries.
Every Product from Valley Food Storage comes with a 25 year shelf life.
The Freeze Dried Blueberries have 30 Calories per serving. Each serving is a 1/4 cup. Each bag comes with 15 serving’s each. The Blueberries didn’t impress me much. They didn’t have that little kick that fresh blueberries have. The texture was good though, it felt like a real blueberry.
The Freeze Dried Strawberry Slices comes with 12 calories per serving. Each serving is 1/4 cup and it comes with 15 servings per bag. I was impressed by the Strawberry Slices. After I let them soak for a few minutes and drained them, I noticed that they have the texture of a fresh Strawberry, the taste was spot on as well.
The Freeze Dried Raspberries come with 25 calories per 1/4 cup serving. Each bag containing 15 servings per pouch. I was satisfied with these, I don’t have the knowledge for comparing them with a fresh Raspberry, but I tasted a bit of a kick and I like that. The texture was great, it felt like any other fresh berry.
All in all I was happy with the product’s. I Haven’t had the time yet to try them in my shake’s that I take to work with me, but I have been using them for my cereal. The best thing about all of these is that you can eat the right out of the package. So if you just wanted to use them to make up some trail mix, these would be perfect for that right out of the bag.
